CNC machining.

CNC machining.

This specific material shaping has been distinguished from a larger group due to several characteristic features. First, the machining service consists of removing successive layers of excess material and converting it into waste material in a specific form. As part of machining, chip modelling (e.g. the milling, machining or drilling) or abrasiving (grinding, polishing, lapping and others) is performed. These methods differ in the type of tools responsible for shaping the material.

CNC machining.

Both of these activities are a type of material processing, e.g. metal or plastics, in order to obtain parts with a specific shape and dimensions. Specialized, computer-controlled machines are used to perform these activities. CNC machining is a method that allows us to quickly and repeatably produce parts for trams. Thanks to computer technology and investment in modern machine tools, we can regularly supply our customers with the necessary parts, characterized by high-quality CNC machining.

This type of processing involves giving the material specific shapes and features by removing excess material. The object is formed by the rotary movement of multi-blade tools, which move not only around their axis but also concerning the cut material, removing unnecessary layers. In computer control of numerical devices, an appropriately programmed microcomputer is responsible for the processing process. It is paired with the machine, thanks to which it can control it.

CNC turning

Similarly, to the milling discussed earlier, turning is a type of machining, or more precisely, chip machining. It is most often used to process the surfaces, both internal and external, of workpieces in the form of a cone, cylinder, sphere, etc.

CNC turning also involves separating a certain layer from the material to obtain the desired shape. However, in this case, the machines operate in a different way than in the method discussed in the previous paragraph. Single-edged machining knives, rather than cutters, are responsible for removing unnecessary layers of material. The movement of the machining knife is smooth and precise. The lathe is controlled by a suitably programmed PC.
